No — you start from zero at our Dhanmondi center. Most students reach JLPT N5–N4 before flying, which is what language schools require.

A formal work permit from Japan's Ministry of Justice is required before you start any job — Discovery processes it right after your visa approval, and you simply submit it at airport immigration when you land.

Japanese language schools admit four times a year — April, July, October and January. Each school sets its own document cut-off well ahead of the intake, so tell us the intake you want and we will work backwards from that school's own calendar.
